Jennifer Kehs

FOR OXFORD SCHOOL BOARD

Hi, I’m Jennifer Kehs, and I’m running for the Oxford School Board because bigotry and blind loyalty deserve representation too. In 2022, I proudly voiced my disdain for immigrant students, blaming them for our district’s problems, because when you can’t solve issues, scapegoating works just fine.

And yes, my husband’s a convicted child rapist, I’m fully aware. But here I am, still running, because apparently, I believe that kind of history is just another “minor inconvenience.” If you vote for me, you’re not just endorsing my views; you’re stamping approval on everything I’m willing to overlook, especially when it’s under my own roof. Let me repeat this…if you vote for me, you are literally supporting those who rape children. Not an opinion, just a fact.

After all, if I can ignore that, I can definitely ignore your kids. Vote Kehs: Because silence is complicity, and I’m living proof.

About Me

I’m a member of the Oxford Area School District board, facing significant public scrutiny due to my comments during a January 2022 board meeting. During the meeting, I suggested that the district's policy on homeless students should explicitly reference "illegal immigrants" and attributed declining test scores to immigrant students . These remarks were widely criticized as xenophobic and led to calls for my resignation.

Further controversy surrounds me due to my husband's criminal history. Thomas Scott Kehs (Hubby) was convicted in 1992 of serious offenses, including the rape of a six-year-old girl. Despite this, I have continued my role on the school board, which has raised concerns among community members about the board's commitment to student safety and ethical governance.Change.org+1Change.org+1.  The combination of my controversial statements and husband's history has intensified public debate about my suitability for a role in educational leadership.

Finally, I love banning books. If a book challenges tradition, questions authority, or makes parents squirm, it has no place in our schools. Censorship? I call it cleaning house. We don’t need kids learning empathy or critical thinking when they can just follow the script. I’ve perfected the art of ignoring monstrous behavior at home, so trust me, I can ignore inconvenient ideas in the library. Protecting children isn’t about truth; it’s about control.

My Focus

Campaign Strategies

Tailored Approach

"My campaign is simple: Focus on what matters, like banning books that make parents uncomfortable and keeping curriculum as unchallenging as possible. My husband's crimes? A mere distraction. He’s not the one running for the school board, I am. If I’ve learned anything from this experience, it’s that accountability is optional when you control the narrative. So, let's steer the conversation back to where it belongs: protecting our children from diverse perspectives, not from actual predators."

Voter Engagement

Community Connection

"Voter engagement is crucial to my campaign. I plan to connect with the community by focusing on the real issues, like keeping schools safe from progressive ideas and making sure parents feel comfortable, even if that means ignoring the uncomfortable. My husband raping children in the past? A non-issue. I’m committed to rallying voters who understand that accountability is just a talking point, not a practice. Let’s protect our values and gloss over the rest."

Impactful Messaging

Effective Communication

"Impactful messaging is about controlling the narrative. I’m focused on delivering strong, values-driven messages that resonate with families, like protecting traditional education and shielding kids from so-called 'woke agendas.' Did I mention my husband is a convicted child rapist? That’s just noise. My strategy is simple: redirect, reframe, and remind voters that accountability is just a word, and words don’t vote. Let’s focus on what really matters: appearances."

Leadership Visuals

Inspiring Leaders

"Visuals are powerful tools in showcasing strong leadership. My campaign will feature images of community gatherings, smiling families, and classrooms full of promise, because nothing says 'trustworthy leadership' like carefully staged photo ops. As for the elephant in the room? We’ll keep that out of the frame. Because Elephants don't rape children, my husband, Thomas Scott Kehs, does.

Leadership is about perception, and if you can’t see it, it’s like it never happened. Let’s keep the focus where it belongs: on curated optics, not inconvenient truths."
